The Faint once provided unreleased remixes and live recordings through their website for download. I used this opportunity to record the exclusive tracks to a CD-R which happened to look like a vinyl record. This lead to an example of fandom taken too far.

Designing and hand-cutting my own mini record sleeve, record jacket, and record sticker, I’ve created my own “limited edition vinyl.” Inspired by the band’s photo-collage art style, this album’s design elements utilizes multilayer imagery and typography.
