Rorshak’s music can be described as a fusion of electronic and hip-hop music, infused with heavy sampling and cues to comic and horror culture. What better way to represent this bizarre showcase of characters than with a horror comics art style. Using vintage EC Horror Comics as my inspiration (and utilizing authentic aged comic book textures), I depicted the characters who appear in the albums’ songs as the “comic’s” subject matter – a fun and familiar way to depict a goofy, garage laboratory.
