Blacks Electrical Supply is a 60 year old, family-owned and operated company. Over the years they have become an industry leader in the southeast, but they were still lacking in their brand presence and brand cohesion. To unofficially celebrate their 60th anniversary, Blacks wanted to launch a new brand identity.
The new visual brand identity established for Blacks introduces a new logo, apparel, email templates, product promo cards, and corporate stationary. The logo’s symbol pulls from schematic symbols of electronics and combines them to create a new symbol loosely translating “a fixture for illuminating transformation.”
